Helen graduated from the University of Wolverhampton and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1998. She was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1999.

In the last 15 years of practice, Helen specialized in Family Law.

Currently a Senior Lecturer for Family Law at Singapore’s third law school at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, Helen is a Consultant in Keystone Law Corporation for her family law practice.

Her practice has also evolved through the years. Helen has been trained and is accredited as a Family Specialist Mediator and is a Mediator at the Family Justice Courts. Helen is also a trained Cross Border Family Mediator, specifically dealing with parental child abduction under the Hague Convention.

Helen is a trained Collaborative Family Practitioner. She is also a trained Child Representative and Parenting Coordinator with the Family Justice Courts.

Helen’s soft skills gained from her experience as a Mediator and Collaborative Practitioner allows her to take a holistic approach when handling family law matters with the team at Keystone Law Corporation.

Helen in her litigation work deals with a myriad of cases involving complex issues and appeals. In a recent survey done by Mr How Kang and in his article dated 6 December 2018 entitled “Singapore’s Legal Profession: Data Analysis of Lead Counsel Appearance Numbers – Building and Exploring a Data Set of Singapore Advocates”, Helen has been listed as a top ten counsel who has appeared as lead counsel before the Court of Appeal and the High Court of Singapore for the period January 2000 to October 2018.

Helen is passionate about children’s issues and continues to place them close to her heart in her mission to always ensure that despite family situations, their lives will be the least affected and the new platform can give them a firm tomorrow.
